Your data on the waiting list
Last updated 2 October 2026
This notice covers the Applicant.cc waiting list on this site. The Applicant.cc app will have its own notice before it opens.
Who we are
Applicant.cc is the data controller for the information on this page. You can contact us about anything here at hello@teamapplicant.com.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Whether you've confirmed it, and when you signed up and confirmed.
- Your answer to the optional question about how many applications you're tracking, if you give one.
We don't ask for your name, and we don't build a profile of you.
Why we use it
We use your email address to confirm your sign-up and to send you one email when your beta invite is ready. The optional answer helps us plan the size of the beta. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
- If you don't confirm your email, we delete it after 7 days.
- If you confirm, we keep it until we send your invite and the private beta opens, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Who else handles it
We use two providers to run the waiting list. Neither may use your data for its own purposes.
- Cloudflare hosts this site, stores the waiting list and runs the check that stops automated sign-ups.
- Resend sends the confirmation email and the invite.
Both may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on the UK's approved safeguards for international transfers. We never sell or share your email with employers, recruiters or advertisers.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set cookies or use ad trackers. To stop automated sign-ups, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser without tracking you across other sites.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. The quickest way to delete it is the "Remove my email" link on the page you reach from your confirmation email. You can also email us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
